New Baby!

Saturday, June 1st my little sister had her second baby!

Wren Elise Olma, 6lbs. 11oz was a big surprise for everyone, except Wyatt who said it was going to be a girl all along. Based on a confusing encounter with a Russian born nurse at the Doctor's office a couple of weeks ago, my sister was convinced the biggest surprise of her life had been ruined when she was told she was having a boy. As it turns out she was not having a boy but 'had' a boy! It seems there was a serious miscommunication that day and Jamie really did get the surprise of her life this weekend.















Anyway, with Wren their little family is complete.














Now I have to wait a whole year to meet the new addition. I tell you these are the times when being away from home is the hardest. The phone and even Skype don't quite cut it when it comes to family sometimes. They make a big difference but what I wouldn't give to hold my new niece and touch those long lovely fingers of hers.

Wren will have no share the spotlight on this post as my cousin Doug and Mindy also just had a little girl. On May 23rd Addison Jane Hartley 7lbs 2oz joined the Hartley family. Now Doug and Mindy have 4 little ones running around the house!
